Charlie Brook – Practice Manager
Charlie has been involved with the practice both in Leamington Spa and since 1990 at Spring Paddocks.
Living on site and married to a Veterinary Surgeon, she cannot help but become involved with all aspects of veterinary work. Although she doesn’t ride as much now, she still owns several horses and ponies and gains great pleasure watching them compete at Riding Club and British Eventing.
Sarah Biddle – Office Manager
Sarah joined the team at Spring Paddocks in 2003 and has been a friendly voice on the end of the phone ever since! She deals with the many varied daily jobs in the office, but is particulary responsible for organising the vets and the diary, especially the zone calls. Aswell as being on reception she also makes herself very useful on the yard and in the clinic when needed. Sarah also deals with the Heath and Safety.
Sarah grew up in Warwickshire and enjoyed going to Young Farmers. She graduated with an HND from the Welsh Agricultural College and then she worked in various yards and for Agricultural Suppliers, some of you may remember her from her time at Midland Shire Farmers.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys looking after her horse Moley. She also enjoys watching Northampton Saints play Rugby when ever she can!
Clare Blackwall – Receptionist
Clare joined the practice in Spring 2011 and is part time in reception, she has taken on insurance as her particular responsibility. Clare has returned off maternity leave (again!) and often pops in with Charlie and Cora on her days off, when not taking the children riding on Treacle the Shetland. She owns a homebred mare called Flora whom she has previously evented, and her foal, Clover who will hopefully be a lovely allrounder in the future! She also enjoys walking her 2 dogs around Edgehill.
Suzie Sheldon – Yard Manager & Senior Clinical Assistant
Suzie grew up on a dairy farm and spent her younger years helping on the farm and riding and hunting her ponies. She then graduated from Bishop Burton in 1989 with a diploma in Farm Business Management. She has worked all her life with horses, mainly eventers and hunters, and has competed in eventing up to 2*.
She joined the practice in 1998 and is now an invaluable member of the team; she manages the clinic, in house laboratory and assists the vets in all procedures.
In her spare time she enjoys trips to Ireland, skiing and walking. In October 2013 she completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 11 hours !
